Let the festivities begin!

The 4th of July is huge deal in these parts, especially in our neighborhood. We usually head to the beach for the holiday, but decided to stay put for the festivities this year. On the 3rd we have "Kirkstock" which is a huge block party with food, drinks, and a band. The 4th starts with a flag raising, followed by a big parade, cookouts, and fireworks. Riley is so excited to decorate her bike this year and Jack's wagon will have all the trimmings. The kids started their celebration with a cook out at school today. Tomorrow is Riley's last day at LMPH, so look for more on that later! In the meantime, we are gearing up for a weekend of friends and fun! Happy 4th of July!

Posing with a few of her friends. Its hard to believe some of them have been together since they were babies!

Kiddos all decked out in their red, white, and blue today for school (yes, I know Jack needs a haircut)
