Merry Christmas!!

Our Christmas was a wonderful whirlwind full of preparations, shopping, wrapping, and enjoying time with friends and family. Once school was out, our days were spent buying last minute gifts, driving around looking at Christmas lights, and spending time with Uncle Chad, Aunt Laura, and Kevin. We have had the most fun seeing our California clan so much this year...we are trying to convince them to come for the next holiday (MLK day?), but it doesn't look promising ;-) I'm sure beach week will be here before we know it!
Christmas did not disappoint. Everyone got extremely spoiled (we could open our own toy store!) and we feel so blessed for what our family does for us. Some highlights include...

Riley played an angel in the Children's Service at church....Church on Christmas Eve turns mommy into a big ball of mush.
Then it was on to Gma and Gpa's house for Christmas Eve dinner with the clan
The mild weather was perfect for Christmas Eve smore's after dinner
Running off the sugar highs!
Christmas Eve tradition....opening one gift
Back home, getting reindeer food set outside and goodies for Santa. Riley wrote the whole letter herself <3
Santa came!
Jack's favorite gift, hands down - a Harry Potter wand and glasses from his sister, who loves him so much
Back to Gma and Gpa's for (tons) more presents and yummy brunch
Best buddies
The aftermath....Christmas afternoon consisted of a movie and a nap before heading back to Gma and Gpa's for more family fun. The past few days have been busy with opening boxes and finding room for all of our new toys! Now that the holiday is over, we are ready for some relaxation...
