Linc had to work today and the kids and I desperately needed to get out of the house. The weather was dreary and an amazing 30+ degrees cooler than it has been lately, so we decided to venture to Hanging Rock and hunt for waterfalls. The kids had a BLAST, and I enjoyed being back after many years. I think we have two campers/hikers on our hands (Linc and I are thrilled about this!). We hiked a total of 3 miles or so - Riley did not complain once! There were a lot of steps, 342 on one of the trails. Jack did awesome, walking most of it except for the inclines on the way out. His little legs worked as hard as they could. We are hoping to go back in a few weeks when they can swim in the creeks!
