Fall days

Where did September and October go?! Our fall is in full swing! Our days have been busy with friends, family, work, and trying to enjoy this awesome season. Today we headed to Blowing Rock/Boone to get our mountain fix. The weather was amazing! The kids RAN all day - we had a picnic on the parkway, saw horses, played at a park, ate candied apples, walked around downtown Blowing Rock, chased swans at Chetola Resort (until we got hissed at), and still managed to stop for pumpkins, apples, and kettle corn. It was a great day and we are looking forward to Halloween in just a few short days!

Riley looked long and hard for a pumpkin she could pick up by herself

Jack enjoyed tipping them all over

Catching a ride with daddy

Hanging out at Chetola

At the playground in downtown Blowing Rock

Our picnic spot at the Moses H. Cone house on the Blue Ridge parkway

Jack and mommy spent less time eating and more time running/exploring

He left no rock, stick , or dandelion unturned
