Our first official week on vacation has been packed with fun! Riley and I went with our neighbors today to Lazy 5 Ranch, about an hour from home. Lazy 5 is an "open" zoo, where you can get up close and personal with the animals. You can either drive your car through, or ride on an open wagon, which is what we did. Jack will join us next time, as he is way too young to sit still on a wagon ride for an hour - he would have ended up being a tasty treat for some furry critter!
Riley had an absolute ball with her favorite next-door buddies. She fed antelope, cows, bison, giraffes, ostrich, and pigs just to name a few. We can't wait to go back!
