Here are a few highlights from Jack's 1st birthday...he had a wonderful night with family and close friends! He ate good food (we had a slider bar with lots of yummy toppings) and enjoyed ripping into his presents. His big present was a car that he can ride in, and he LOVES it! He wasn't too fond of his cake, but the rest of the birthday party was flawless. It's hard to believe that he is already a year old! Now we are looking forward to all of the fun we have planned with warmer weather just around the corner!
Singing Happy Birthday to Jack before school. He dances to it.

He LOVES his new ride

He was all smiles as we sang and brought the cake to him
Once he got all cleaned up, it was time to wrap up the party and head to bed! For those of you who know Jack, you know that he has been quite the stinker when it comes to holding his own bottle. Sippy cups, yes. Bottles, especially his bedtime bottle, not so much. Well, after his party he decided to play the part of a one year old, and grabbed his bottle from me and fed himself. Such a big boy - we were all very proud of him. Now we have to break it to him that the bottles are being put away!
