It has been a difficult week for our family. My brother Dan passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 7th. He was a wonderful brother and a doting uncle. We will miss him and will hold him forever in our hearts. Riley loved seeing her uncle, especially on our regular trips out to the Farmer's Market together. It is actually comforting to hear her say that Uncle Dan lives in the clouds and rides on the rainbows. It sounds like a wonderful place to be. More than anything, Dan loved his family, the beach, fishing, and anything outdoors. So in honor of him, our family has decided to proceed with our annual beach week. We arrived today, ready for some fun, and also ready to reminise about a wonderful person. Each of the nieces and nephews are armed with a brand new fishing pole and are ready to try their first hand at fishing this week. This one's for you Uncle Dan....

Crissy, Im so sorry to hear about your brother. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this time. I hope you are able to enjoy yourselves at the beach!
